Canon PowerShot S95 - price down to $289

While the new PowerShot S100 is hitting the shelves, the soon-to-be-dethroned S95's price is dropping, to an all time low at Amazon - $289.

The PowerShot S95 has been a huge success by Canon during the last year, after fixing some gripes over the previous ground-breaking S90.

Since the PowerShot S100 is already here, now could be an excellent time for all of you who wished for, but could afford the S95. Its price is plummeting to a hugely attractive bang-for-the-buck level.

Compared to the PowerShot S100's current price ($429), the gap is obvious.

Update (November 11th, 2011): It was short. Very short. The price is now up to $319 at Amazon. I'll keep watching.

Update (November 17th, 2011): All hope is not lost. The S95's price at Amazon is down again - $299.

Update (November 20th, 2011): Amazon lowered the S95's price to $289 again.
Adorama is selling the S95 for $299 and B&H is still at an a less attractive $329.

Update (November 24th, 2011): The market forces are strong with this one - Adorama and B&H compared their prices with Amazon, all selling the S95 for $289!
